Coopers at Cutalong Wins Multiple Honors in the Golden Fork Awards
Coopers Bar & Restaurant at Cutalong is proud to share it earned multiple honors in Golf Inc.’s prestigious 2026 Golden Fork Awards, placing third nationally in both the New Private F&B Facility and Food Programming categories—a rare distinction and the only club recognized in two categories this year.
These honors spotlight the early impact of Coopers Bar & Restaurant, and signals something even bigger: a new standard of culinary inspiration taking shape in Lake Anna.
The Golf Inc. Golden Fork Awards are among the industry’s most respected honors, evaluated by an independent panel of judges who assess creativity, menu design, signature dishes and cocktails, use of fresh and local ingredients, and how the overall program enhances the member and guest experience. As Golf Inc. noted in announcing this year’s winners, “From traditional American fare to a diverse array of international offerings, this year’s winners display a robust assortment of innovative menus and beautiful dining spaces.”

The Vision
Coopers debuted alongside the opening of the new clubhouse and immediately set the tone for Cutalong—welcoming, refined and intentionally designed around gathering, connection and shared experiences. Judges specifically highlighted the program’s focus on seasonality, and one judge noted, “Fresh regional seafood, heritage meats, seasonal menus and crafted cocktails show a consistent emphasis on technique and ingredient integrity.”
Behind the scenes, this recognition reflects the passion and purpose of the team. “Having Cutalong recognized by Golf Inc. as part of the Golden Fork Awards is a tremendous honor for the club, our members and our team,” said General Manager Ian Sikes, crediting the vision of the culinary program, the daily dedication of the staff and the support of the membership.
