A 28-year Class A PGA Member, Carl joined Cutalong Golf Club with extensive experience, most recently serving as General Manager at The Federal Club in Glen Allen, VA. Prior to that, he held the same position at Royal New Kent, Stonehouse and Brickshire Golf Clubs. Carl attended Virginia Commonwealth University on a full golf scholarship and earned a B.S. in Business Administration. A Richmond native, Carl lives in Powhatan County with his wife, daughter and rescue puppy.

A state golf champion from Albemarle High School, Jack graduated from Georgia Southern University and has been a Master PGA Professional since 1996. His career includes leadership roles such as Director of Golf at Spring Creek and Glenmore Club. Since joining Cutalong Golf Club in July 2021, Jack has been dedicated to teaching golfers of all skill levels and sharing his love for the game. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Jenn grew up in Maine and found her passion for golf in high school. After training at the International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head, she earned a scholarship to Belmont Abbey College, where she played four years of golf and helped win three conference championships. She graduated with a degree in Sports Management and went on to help junior golfers earn college scholarships. Jenn later worked at Kiawah Island Golf Resort before joining Cutalong as Head Golf Professional in early 2024.

Chris, a Fredericksburg native, spent summers on Lake Anna before earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from George Mason University in 2018. During college, he gained experience in social media and marketing through the athletic department, later interning with the Portland Trail Blazers. Chris joined Cutalong Golf Club in 2020 while the course was still under construction. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, golfing, video games and spending time with friends and family.

Jimmy brings a wealth of experience from top-tier courses, including Medinah Country Club in Illinois, where he prepared for the 2012 Ryder Cup, and Long Island National Golf Club in New York. With extensive expertise in maintaining championship-level bent grass greens, Jimmy specializes in delivering tournament-ready conditions while navigating diverse climates. A graduate of the Rutgers Professional Turfgrass Management Program, Jimmy resides with his wife and daughter.

With over 30 years of experience in the golf industry, Shawn has worked at clubs from Cape Cod to North Carolina. Most recently at Lee’s Hill in Fredericksburg, Shawn brings extensive knowledge to Cutalong Golf Club. A GCSAA member since 2008, Shawn enjoys spending time with his family and beta-testing PC games.

Alex, a Unionville native, studied landscape and turfgrass management at Virginia Tech, graduating in 2020. With eight years of industry experience, Alex has been with Cutalong Golf Club since March 2022. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf.

David Medina

Originally from Las Vegas, David spent the past 35 years in the Reno-Tahoe area. He studied at the University of New Mexico and the University of Nevada, Reno, and has spent most of his career in private F&B. His experience includes Wailea Gold Course in Maui and Montreux CC in Reno, with time in markets like Breckenridge, Lake Tahoe, Maui, Boston, Manhattan and San Francisco. David is married with four grown children and two grandsons.
