Environmental Impact
Sustaining the land we love.
Every decision we make is grounded in the belief that this landscape deserves to be preserved. Our commitment to sustainability ensures that the region we love continues to thrive.
Revitalizing the ecosystems around us.
We’ve partnered with leading environmental engineers to carefully restore and enhance key areas within our resort’s watershed. With an investment exceeding one million dollars, we’ve revitalized streams and creeks throughout the property—significantly reducing runoff and curbing nitrogen and phosphorus emissions—to ensure the natural beauty and ecological integrity of this landscape are preserved for generations to come.
WATER CONSERVATION
Water conservation is integral to Tributer Resort’s ethos. Our golf course thrives by using beneficial reuse water for irrigation. This sustainable practice allows us to conserve water while maintaining the lush, pristine conditions golfers expect. It's just one of the many ways we blend environmental responsibility with an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

EFFLUENT TREATMENT
Tributer Resort’s state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility sets a new standard for nutrient removal and sustainable water management. Permitted for beneficial reuse, the system supports long-term groundwater conservation, while on-site stream restoration credits offset offseason discharges at a 2:1 ratio—delivering net-positive benefits to the local watershed. At full capacity, the facility can treat up to 200,000 gallons of wastewater per day.
WETLANDS CREATION
Tributer Resort restored ½-acre of wetlands damaged by 1800s mining operations, creating a natural water-quality polishing area with native vegetation that absorbs additional nutrients and promotes biodiversity.EPA WATERSENSE
Tributer Resort supports environmental sustainability through EPA WaterSense standards, requiring certified water-efficient fixtures throughout the property. Toilets, faucets and showerheads are designed to use at least 20% less water while maintaining performance, helping conserve natural resources and reduce energy use.
