Cutalong at Tributer Resort was proud to host the third annual EMS Charity Golf Tournament on May 20, 2025, supporting New Bridge Fire & Rescue, Station 8. The tournament united community members, players, and sponsors in a shared mission and successfully raised $44,000 for critical lifesaving equipment. This event was not just a day of camaraderie and competition but a testament to the power of community and generosity.

Honoring Our Purpose

This year’s tournament was more than a game—it was a mission. The event was graciously hosted by The Foundation for Lake Anna Emergency Services, long-standing champions of raising funds to support emergency services at Lake Anna and the surrounding communities. Their dedication and tireless fundraising efforts have played a pivotal role in strengthening fire and rescue capabilities in the local area. Station 8 is an essential lifeline for the Lake Anna area, and the funds raised will directly support the purchase of critical equipment, including:

• A water rescue trailer
• Dry suits for cold-water operations
• An Aqua View Eye Sonar System for quicker victim location
• An all-surface rescue boat
• Workbenches in the bays to improve operational readiness
• A tanker truck

These tools will help responders save lives faster and more safely, and thanks to our sponsors and the $44,000 raised, they’re now within reach.
